July 2025 Newsletter: Navigating Assessment Feedback

Community, we pray you are happy and well. We are continuing to pray for those who have been affected by floods, both in Texas and abroad. Remember that if you are ever feeling discouraged or have a need, you can submit a prayer request or contact us.

Employees across our corporation are starting to receive results from the Performance Assessment process. As we navigate this process, please read our article on how to respond to feedback. We pray it is an encouragement to you.

External Event: Perspectives Course

Perspectives is a 15 week course that equips believers to see how scripture, history, culture, and strategy converge to reveal the unfolding of God’s redemptive purposes. Here’s testimony from a CCEM member: “Perspectives transformed my view of the Great Commission and how I could play a role in reaching ‘unreached people groups’ even without going overseas.”

Young Professional Corner

(Psst… Are you a young professional? This section is for you)

Men’s Fellowship Night

Young Professionals: Join us on Monday evening, July 21st, at Grace Bible Church in the Heights for a guy’s night of fellowship.

Living Missionally as a Young Professional

Join us in a discussion about what it looks like to live out your faith as a young professional. We’ll have four different perspectives from employee’s that are walking in obedience to what this looks like for them, to encourage and equip CYP members in being salt and light in the world.

This is an in-person event. Bring your own lunch and sign up here.

Mission is the intended occupation and preoccupation of the whole people of God, not merely a few chosen representative or designated missionaries.
— R. Paul Stevens in The Other Six Days: Vocation, Work, and Ministry in Biblical Perspective
